Spring is on its way (any day now!) and we can’t wait to meet the fabulous nurseries joining us at Powderham Castle on Friday 28 and Saturday 29 April.
As always, they’ll be bringing a cornucopia of British nursery-grown shrubs, perennials, trees and house plants for sale, along with the benefit of their huge knowledge, learned from a lifetime of raising their plant stock. Some of these men and women will also be giving talks in our popular Country Gardener Marquee, sharing tips on growing hostas, summer bulbs, cut flowers, organic vegetable and training multi-stemmed trees.
As well as many old favourites, including Chelsea Flowershow award-winners, such as Floyds Climbers, Tynings and local pinks growers, Whetmans, we are pleased to welcome some new faces in 2023.
Say hello to Somerset specialist grower Mike Hopkins of Mikes Hostas, who will have a selection of his 226 varieties of the popular plant on sale and is also giving a talk.
Camassia specialist, Hare Spring Cottage Plants, hold the National Collection and can be found in the Garden Village.
Festival visitors will be the first to see and purchase sensational drought-resistant plants from one of the country’s newest nurseries: Primal Plants.
And we have two brilliant new house plant specialists, Hutch House Plants from Exeter and Plymouth’s Nook House Plants, both guaranteed to get your indoor jungle started with their ranges of succulents and unusual foliage plants.
Check out all the other wonderful nurseries joining us in our exhibitor list here, and buy your online advance tickets here.
Toby’s Garden Festival is on Friday 28 and Saturday 29 April at Powderham Castle.
