What Visitors and Exhibitors say about Toby’s Garden Festival

We always love to get your feedback and know what you thought of your visit to the Garden Festival, and hear back from you on what we can do to improve or what you would like to see at the next one! To that end, we are currently working on a feedback form which will be up on the website shortly. In the meantime, here’s some of the many wonderful comments we have had from our exhibitors, visitors and garden clubs who have joined us in the past. In the meantime, please email any feedback to lisa@tobygardenfest.co.uk or alan@countrygardener.co.uk.

‘We valued the media attention’

“Thank you so much for the amazing festival you and your team organized last weekend.  You must be exhausted but what a success!   The promotion was perfect and the resulting crowds were testament to that.   We valued the media attention and I know we all benefited from it.   We had to restock our stand three times on the Friday and virtually sold out on the Saturday.

I have heard nothing but positive remarks, praising the quality and variety of the stands as well as enjoying the happy atmosphere which for me was certainly enhanced by the magician juggler and the stilt walkers!  The whole two days were excellent and I’m afraid this is going to become a regular fixture in people’s diaries!’

‘We were able to get our message over’

“Just to let you know that my colleague from Devon Wildlife Trust who attended your event on has told me what a wonderful and successful time she had. She loved the location she was in and managed to talk to lots of people about the work of the Trust and get our message over .

She said it was a very well organised event so well done to you all for all your hard work. Devon Wildlife Trust

‘Great atmosphere, lovely people ‘

“I hope you have recovered from the fabulous two day festival at Powderham. I had a great show, it was lovely to be part of, a great atmosphere, lovely people, and of course the stunning stunning location.

Carolyn Bourne Managing Director, Whetman Pinks Ltd

 ‘The media coverage was superb’

It was absolutely terrific and everyone we’ve spoken to thought it was a huge success.  The media coverage was superb and I doubt anyone in Devon could be unaware there was a Garden Festival at Powderham Castle. That alone makes it valuable to exhibitors. In addition, a lot of people have said that the entry price was pitched just right and probably encouraged more people to come.

Very disappointed with the show at Forde abbey. Difficulty in finding the venue and not many stalls when eventually found it. Powderham was so good despite the weather being bad. Had been looking forward to going but wil just stick to Powderham in future.
