Telegraph wine writer, Susy Atkins, joins us on Saturday

Grape news! The marvellous Daily Telegraph wine writer – and local Devon gal – Susy Atkins is joining us on stage at Powderham Castle at Toby’s Garden Festival on Saturday 30 April. The BBC Saturday Kitchen expert will be giving a talk alongside other celebrity expertsincluding garden designer and BBC Gardener’s World presenter, Arit Anderson, RHS judge Jim Buttress and festival host and TV gardener, Toby Buckland.

Susy will be giving her insider wine tasting tips and, if you’re lucky, a taster of a local tipple or too, as well as sharing her knowledge of her favourite Devon vineyards and where to find them. You’ll be able to meet local vineyard growers and vintners at the festival too.

All talks, including two days of castle talks and expert gardening talks with nursery-people in the Country Gardener tipi are free to fest visitors. Seats are limited and on a fist come, first served basis.

Festival tickets available online from £12.
