There’s sky-high fun for children at Toby’s Harvest Fest on 15th and 16th September! Unleash your inner clown with help from the Higher Beings who return with their popular Circus Skills Workshop, where you try your hand at unicycling, stilt-walking, hang from the aerial hoop, lie on a bed of nails and become an expert juggler!
Lee Connelly, aka Skinny Jean Gardener, famed for being the Blue Peter Gardener brings his Kids Gardening Show to the festival where not only are you guaranteed to learn lots about growing, you might find yourself watering with a water pistol! Also in the Kids Zone, we have Alpha Alpaca, face and glitter-painting and apple pressing with the Pomona where you can bring your own apples – or buy some of our heritage varieties – to press your own fresh delicious juice.
There is also Have-a-Go-Archery, paper flower making (ages 11-plus) with Wild Hive and basket weaving in the Seating Tent, or head to the Top Lawn and watch a cooking or craft demo, and make a friendship bracelet in the Knitting Tent. And most importantly, there is lots of scrumptious food, cake, brownies, pasties, slushies and lashings of local ice-cream from Styles!
