Devonshire basket maker Jane Welsh will be demonstrating how to make a plant support using local willow at the festival.

These supports provide a beautiful frame for sweet peas or runner beans to grow up and can be made at home. Jane will talk about preparing the willow, the making technique and provide more handy tips on installing and looking after your plant support!

Jane Welsh is an experienced traditional basket maker and teacher based near Crediton. She runs regular workshops both close to home and further afield throughout the South West.
