We look forward to welcoming professional Spanish guitarist and composer Mark Barnwell to the GardenFest at Powderham on Saturday 29th. Mark who you’d have heard at the Festival if you’ve joined us before is based in South East Cornwall and is a dynamic live performer.
Mark’s repertoire includes Latin, Flamenco, contemporary and World Fusion as well as traditional Spanish guitar pieces. Mark has played (both solo and with other top musicians) all over the UK and far beyond – including France, Germany, Greece, India, Australia and California, the latter being in October 2016.
Mark brings his uplifting, sunny and unique brand of exotic Spanish Guitar music to Toby Buckland’s Garden Festival for a 3rd year. Combining Latin, Flamenco and Eastern influences, he will be playing original tracks from his new album, Mandala, along with an eclectic mix of instrumental arrangements of music from the Beatles, the Eagles, Sting and the Gipsy Kings.
