New year, new member of the Toby GardenFest gang! Say hello to Lisa Lipman our clever new creative guru, who’s joined our small and very (very) hands-on team to bring fresh ideas and oodles of enthusiasm to the 2025 festival at Powderham Castle.

Lisa has been directing and producing TV programmes for the last 30 years – from antiques, via cookery programmes to the wildlife of Kenya. In the last 8 years she’s found her metier, travelling across Britain and beyond to make films for the much-loved gardening programme, BBC Gardeners’ World. Since then, she’s joined the hooked-on gardening gang and now can’t get enough of the plants and veggies in her cottage garden. She met Toby on GW – and the rest is history. Now, she can’t wait to bring her enthusiasm for horticulture to the fest. Welcome Lisa!
