If you’re planning on visiting the festival on both days, there are plenty of places to stay nearby. Exeter is just a 15 minute drive or train ride away, go to the Visit Exeter website to search for places to stay in Exeter city centre and the surrounding area.

In Exeter, the Mercure Southgate and Rougemont Hotels offer 4-star accommodation and the convenience of city-centre shopping and restaurants. Closer to us and the coast at Dawlish Warren is The Langstone Cliff Hotel with its sea views just a short walk from the beach and nature reserve.

For those seeking a luxury stay, treat yourself to a stay at the recently opened Lympstone Manor owned by award-winning Devon chef Michael Caines, a contemporary hotel with fine dining, overlooking the sparkling Exe estuary. Or in the half an hour way at Gittisham near Honiton is The Pig at Combe, an Elizabethan gem set in the rolling hills of the Otter Valley, with its laid-back style and fascinating kitchen garden which resources the excellent restaurant. Both gardeners and chefs from The Pig have been festival speakers and we can vouch for the quality of their growing and cooking!

Camping

Dawlish Warren is just a few miles down the A379 coast road towards Dawlish, with an array of campsites to choose from. At nearby Cockwood, there is Cofton Holiday Park, a popular family-run business with a pool, gym and sauna and plenty of family entertainment if you’re planning to bring the children.
