Toby’s Garden Festival FAQs

Is it possible for me to get a passout during the festival?

Passouts are available at the show. Your ticket will be taken upon entry into the show however, a pass out can be obtained by getting your hand stamped.

Can I bring my dog?

Dogs are allowed on a short lead.

Can I smoke at the show?

Smoking is not allowed in any marquee, tent or any enclosed space, within the festival.

Where is the car park?

Free parking is located in the fields adjacent to Powderham Castle.

Are there any cash machines at the festival?

There are no cash machines available at the festival however, there are cash back facilities at the ticket entrance.

Are group bookings available?

We welcome group bookings to the festivals which since they launched in 2014 has become immensely popular with gardening club groups in particular. If you are interested in coming to the festival as a group we offer discounted tickets and free parking and more benefits. For more details call Alan Lewis on 01823 431767 to discuss your needs.

What catering is available?

We are proud of our curated high quality range of food and drinks, including veggie, vegan and gluten-free and lactose-free options, all from Devon and West Country suppliers. 

How wheelchair friendly is the festival site?

The festival takes place over a number of levels over the festival area and while wheelchair access is available to most areas there are one or two parts of the grounds which are not accessible by wheelchair. For more info, see Accessibility.

What are the opening times?

The festival opened on both days at 10am and closes at 5pm.

What are the advance ticket prices?

£11 in advance, £12.50 on the day.

Do you offer facilities for disabled parking?

There is a drop-off point via the main entrance of the castle. Car parking for disabled is in the main festival car park, nearest to the gate which anyone with accredited disabled parking stickers will be able to use.

Is there somewhere to leave purchases when you shop?

We aren’t running our usual plant creche in 2021, but you may be able to leave your purchase with the nursery while you browse.
