Dates Announced for 2018!

Winter may be on its way but gardeners need not despair! Plantsman Toby Buckland has just announced the 2018 dates for his perennially popular Garden Festival early next spring. Returning for a fifth year, the two-day gardening fiesta will be on Friday 27th and Saturday 28th April 2018. Held in the stunning riverside location of Powderham Castle, near Exeter in Devon, the festival promises a bounty of blooms, guaranteed to get your garden off to flower-filled start.

Broadcaster Toby, who presents BBC TV coverage from Chelsea Flower Show and anchors the gardening slot on Radio Devon’s Sunday morning show said, “The Festival has gone from strength to strength since it began in 2014. To date, we’ve been joined by the UK’s top gardening talent along with a wealth of flowers, food and craft and welcomed more than 30,000 visitors through Powderham’s gates.”

Toby’s GardenFest will bring a mix of celebrity garden speakers and more than 180 exhibitors to the Castle, including award-winning plant nurseries, artisan food and drink and the best West Country craftspeople guaranteed to delight any green-fingered gardener and all those who love the great outdoors.

“A fifth birthday party is always a big one,” says Toby, “and we are planning some special surprises, so do come and join the celebrations!”

Early bird tickets for a reduced price of £8.50 (gate price £12.50) will be on sale here from December 1st.
